A therapeutic alliance
The client - clinician fit, also known as the therapeutic alliance is incredibly important. Research shows there is a relation between an alliance and the outcome of therapy. We specifically have a team page so the team members can introduce themselves, and you have a chance to begin your clinician selection. When searching for a professional to work with, it may be beneficial to look for someone who works with a certain population or specializes in a particular disorder, diagnosis, or issue. We offer a no-cost consultation for us to determine fit.

Psychological Evaluation
Psychological evaluations are billed at a flat starting rate of $2,500, which includes up to 20 hours of professional time. This time typically covers record review, clinical interviews, test administration and scoring, collateral contact as appropriate, report writing, and a feedback session. Most evaluations are completed within this time frame.
In the event that unforeseen clinical complexities arise or additional testing or services are clinically indicated, time beyond the initial 20 hours is billed at $175 per hour. Any need for additional time will be discussed in advance whenever possible.
A non-refundable deposit of $2,000 is required at the initiation of the evaluation. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the feedback session and release of the written report.

Court-Ordered/Agency-Referred Evaluation
Court-ordered evaluations and evaluations referred by government or public agencies are billed according to the terms of the authorizing court order or agency agreement. In these cases, payment is remitted directly by the referring agency upon completion of services. Advance payment is not required for authorized court-ordered evaluations.

Payment is due at the time of service. If a balance equivalent to more than one session remains unpaid, upcoming appointments may be canceled until the balance is resolved.
We strongly prefer maintaining a credit, debit, or HSA card on file, which will be processed after each completed session. Payment by check or cash is also accepted and may be provided directly to your clinician at the conclusion of the session.
Clients may access the secure client portal at any time to review balances and submit payments.
Cards on file are processed on the Monday following the completed session.
Payment Expectations
Superbill / Insurance Reimbursement
If you would like to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, we are happy to provide a superbill upon request. Please note that insurance companies determine their own reimbursement amounts, which may not cover the full cost of your session.
Superbills are typically emailed during the first week of each month for sessions completed in the previous month.
Sliding Scale
Our therapists maintain a limited number of appointments in their schedule for sliding scale sessions. In other words, we do not want money to get between you and your ideal therapist. Contact us today to learn more.
Cancellations
We ask that appointments be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a $65 fee. This fee will be waived in the case of an emergency, such as a health concern or crisis.
